About the baker....
My love of baking began when I was a little girl and had to use a chair to stand on, and grandma had to help me with the rolling pin. I looked forward to making Christmas cookies with my grandmother every year, I still do. She's now 90 and we haven't missed a year yet. The crowd has definitely grown though. My large brood of four kids is now in on the Christmas cookie extravaganza. We all look forward to our yearly gathering at my mom's house and baking cookies all day with our family.
The love of creating something beautiful from my baked goodies began about 8 years ago when I took a cake decorating class at a local craft store. I was hooked from the first night! Slowly but surely I built a wonderful cake decorating business. I have the most devoted clients in the world, some have become like family. It's so much fun meeting a bride, creating her wedding cake, then later her baby shower cake, and then a first birthday cake. It means a lot to me.
